The creative team from International Rescue Committee reached out to me to create a collection of illustrations for the Lego Foundation’s Playmatters initiative. PlayMatters is an initiative that has reached 800,000 refugee and host community children in Uganda, Ethiopia and Tanzania. The program introduces play as a way to ‘counterbalance negative factors in their [childrens’] lives.”

Car Free Earth Day is an annual NYC DOT event in April that encourages exploration of the 5 boroughs through biking, walking and subway transportation without the use of cars. The NYC DOT and I worked together to create 9 different maps to help pedestrians and bikers navigate streets as well as provide time estimates for walking and biking to popular plazas, parks and nearby landmarks. I created a visually cohesive set of maps by creating a design system with shared infographics as well as implementing a typographic hierarchy for the street names, plazas, main pedestrian corridors, and bike path labels.

NYC-based food delivery charity, God’s Love We Deliver and I worked together to create the visuals for their new youth volunteer initiative, Young Hearts. We carried the visuals over, implementing them into the marketing as well as the sponsorship deck for their inaugural fundraiser, Young Hearts Friend Fest Ice Cream Social which was hosted at the Museum of Ice Cream.
With the stress of the pandemic there has been an increase of women turning to alcohol. This illustration accompanies an article on The Skimm that discusses this increase as well as steps to take if someone is ‘sober curious.’

Matrescence, or the life-changing transition into motherhood, is a term coined in the 1970s by medical anthropologist, Dana Raphael, that has recently been reintroduced into the motherhood vernacular. NPR’s Lifekit episode, There's A Name For The Ups And Downs Of New Motherhood: It's Called Matrescence, I wanted to show a woman’s journey from pre-motherhood, pregnancy, early postpartum and then the 4th/5th trimester that reflected the vast physical and emotional changes felt by mothers.
Apartment Therapy’s, Homesteading as Escapism, shares the new ventures you can do while at staying at home or “homesteading.” And, yes, installing solar panels seems to be a thing!

NPR’s Lifekit episode, When It Comes To Screens, Kids Need A Guide — Not A Disciplinarian, discusses how screentime can be a valuable tool for families, especially when they embrace it and tailor it to what is important ( such as the arts, science, math, sports, etc. ) and valued ( child’s safety or entertainment ) to the family.

Food waste is one of the largest contributors to global warming. When food is thrown out in a landfill, it creates methane which is then released into the atmosphere. NPR’s podcast, Life Kit, recent episode discusses food waste and ways to combat it.

This piece was created out of a desire to illustrate something timeless, tasteful, and educational for my baby boy's nursery. Living in Brooklyn, I see so many cute dogs in my neighborhood and those daily interactions inspired me to create Dogs from A to Z. Hopefully you love it just the same and add it to your little one's room. This scene of Dumbo Brooklyn was created for a fun and colorful engaged couple. Shaad and April will be getting married at Jane’s Carousel in June. We worked together on this illustrated scene that will be used for their invitation, wedding website, and day-of signage. It was so fun to create this colorful scene! I want to take the ferry there now :)
A piece focusing on all the ways for retirees to stay healthy and strong. For this, we focused on a mix of nutrition, exercise, medication, and technology. This was fun illustrating all health-inspired items, including green juice, salmon and a spin bike (my favorite!).

This year, I'll be working with NYC- based charity, God's Love We Deliver, to create marketing assets to promote their fundraising campaigns. The third campaign is for Deliver Love. This initiative helps provide brownies on Valentine's Day to their clients.
During the month of February, I worked with the creative team at Brandless to create a social media campaign focused on ways to spread love and kindness. I created daily illustrations. The in-house team added all branding elements and animated the drawings. The illustrations were used on Instagram, Twitter, and daily emails.
This piece was for an NPR article that highlighted the $250 teacher tax deduction that will remain in the Republican tax bill. The article asks teachers how much they spend on annual supplies and it easily surpasses $250.
For this piece, the main goal was to create a modern, baby room with neutral colors to accompany a Baltimore Home article about modern baby nurseries. This was a lot of fun because I could do some product research and design my own, dream, baby room.
The team from Soho House magazine, House Notes, asked me to work on a Miami map. Artist, Charming Baker, highlighted his favorite Miami places to check out during Art Basel. Those places are highlighted on this bright and pastel map that I created.

The ICON Illustration Conference is the leading illustration conference that happens biennially. In 2016, ICON 9 was hosted in the southern city of Austin, Texas. With the guidance of the ICON marketing director, I created the map that was included in every attendees welcome tote. Thanks ICON!
The creative team from Manhattan's west side park, The Highline, and I worked on a set of custom stickers. The final artwork included The Highline's iconic imagery as well as public art that lives on the elevated park's green space. These stickers were created to give out to patrons who have made donations to the park.
